XPS Surface Analysis of Discolored Carbon Fiber

Project Description

We need a laboratory to perform X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) on normal and discolored carbon fiber samples. The objective is to compare surface chemistry, identify possible contamination, and determine whether a thin surface layer is associated with the discoloration.

We are initially considering approximately three normal samples and three affected samples. Please recommend an appropriate analytical scope, sample quantity, preparation and handling requirements, and provide a budgetary quotation.
