Third-Party Refrigerator Ice and Water System Testing

A third-party laboratory is needed to perform proprietary performance and statistical reliability testing of household refrigerator ice and water systems, including ice makers, water valves, dispensers, motors, tubing, connectors, and related components.

Testing may involve individual components on custom fixtures or complete refrigerators as test platforms. The laboratory must be capable of supporting custom controls and data acquisition, testing components at 0°F/-18°C, and accommodating up to 24 full-size refrigerators with power, water, and data connections.

Test durations range from approximately two days to six months. Laboratories should indicate their available space, environmental capabilities, custom-fixture experience, data acquisition resources, and ability to follow confidential proprietary procedures.
