Sample Testing in Down Packing & Drumming Operations

We are looking for the price on the below drumming operation from bulk container into intermediate bulk containers (IBCs). Prior to filling commencement, a running outlet sample must be taken from the foot valve of the truck. This sample must be checked against product’s specification and/or Certificate of Conformity/Analysis. A Belgium facility is needed for testing the running outlet sample from the truck for:

– Appearance (Visual)

– Odour (Organoleptic)

– Viscosity at 40 °C (ASTM D 445)

– Density 15 °C (ASTM D 4052)

– Full drumming survey (as per tariff to be agreed):

Truck Container/drum or IBC cleanliness inspection.

All packaging supplied and used must be brand new, free from any contaminants, unblemished, and fit for purpose. Frequent random inspections must be conducted to ensure the integrity of both the interior and exterior of the packaging units is consistent and maintained.

Truck container to be sampled from top (running) and bottom (outlet), 2 samples in total of 0.5L each.

All necessary line samples, end-of-line sample for analysis purposes.

Retained samples to be drawn from the first and last drums/IBCs from the filling operation only. Maximum 2 samples only.

All samples that have been drawn by the inspectors must be retained by them for a minimum of 3 3-month period.
