Rainfall Simulation and Water Leakage Testing of Corrugated Metal Pipes in Stone Backfill

We’d like to conduct a rainfall simulation and water leakage evaluation using a test enclosure containing two sections of corrugated metal pipe surrounded by stone backfill material.

The objective is to simulate rainfall conditions and assess water movement and leakage behavior within the pipe and surrounding backfill. We need the following—

1. Test Enclosure: Construct or accommodate an enclosure containing two corrugated metal pipe sections surrounded by stone backfill.

2. Rainfall Simulation: Apply simulated rainfall over the test enclosure to evaluate water infiltration and leakage behavior.

3. Pipe Water Level Monitoring: Measure and record water surface elevations inside the corrugated metal pipes over time.

4. Groundwater Level Monitoring: Measure and record groundwater elevations within the surrounding backfill during the test.
