A laboratory is required to perform comprehensive geochemical and ore-grade analysis of mine rock samples.
The requested scope includes:
A multi-element ICP-MS analytical package covering germanium, gallium, indium, tellurium, yttrium, ytterbium, gadolinium, samarium, zinc, lead, and copper.
Sample preparation using peroxide fusion or a four-acid near-total digestion method. Aqua regia digestion alone is not preferred.
Ore-grade assay methods suitable for elevated concentrations of zinc, lead, and copper.
Separate gold and silver analysis by fire assay.
Quality assurance and quality control consisting of at least one certified reference material, one method blank, and duplicate sample analysis.
Laboratories should identify the proposed preparation and analytical methods, detection limits, upper reporting limits, sample quantity requirements, turnaround time, and applicable accreditation. Please also indicate whether over-range results will automatically be repeated using an appropriate ore-grade method.
