Injectable Hydrogel Formulation and Characterization
Project Description
Seeking a contract laboratory with an in-house wet lab to formulate and characterize 2–3 research-grade variants of an injectable, thermosensitive polysaccharide hydrogel. The established gel system and detailed formulation specifications will be disclosed under a mutual nondisclosure agreement.
The non-GLP project scope includes:
Preparing 2–3 formulation variants according to provided specifications
Confirming injectability at room temperature and gelation near 37 °C
Conducting basic rheological characterization, including shear-thinning behavior
Measuring pH and gelation time
Sterile-filtering the formulations
Providing a brief Certificate of Analysis and batch record
Refrigerating the completed variants and cold-shipping labeled aliquots directly to designated third-party testing laboratories
This engagement must be completed strictly on a work-for-hire basis. All project results and intellectual property will be assigned to us. The laboratory must retain no ownership interest, license, publication rights, co-authorship, joint-venture interest, or other stake in the work.
Interested labs must confirm:
Access to an in-house wet lab and the ability to sterile-filter and cold-ship samples
Relevant experience with chitosan or comparable hydrogel formulations
Willingness to execute a mutual NDA and accept the stated work-for-hire and intellectual property terms
Willingness to produce a small, non-GLP, research-grade batch
A fixed quotation, estimated project timeline, and minimum batch size.
