We’re a high school research team seeking a contract laboratory to perform impact and compression testing on small-batch, 3D-printed thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) joint structures containing an internal honeycomb lattice.
The test specimens are infused with a student-prepared shear-thickening fluid consisting of 20% hydrophilic fumed silica and 80% polyethylene glycol 200 by weight. Empty TPU lattice structures will be provided as controls.
Requested testing includes:
The laboratory should provide applicable specimen size and geometry requirements, recommended test methods, minimum sample quantities, pricing, turnaround time, and available reporting options.
