Cleaning Efficacy Testing of Utensil Wipes on Stainless Steel Surfaces

Project Description

We’re looking for a laboratory to conduct cleaning efficacy (performance) testing on a utensil cleaning wipe to support the claim: “Removes up to 99% of dirt, residue, and buildup from restaurant silverware.”

Testing should be performed on stainless steel surfaces using a standardized food-like soil. We need a quantitative method that measures how much material is physically removed after wiping (e.g., a weight-based/gravimetric approach or similar). This is a non-EPA product and does not involve antibacterial or kill claims—the focus is strictly on physical cleaning performance.
