We require an Orlando or US contract laboratory to perform optical alignment and validation of a build‑to‑print 520 nm continuous Class 3B laser system (<50 W). Scope includes:
Safety compliance per ANSI Z136.1, certified laser eyewear, controlled area signage, and access control required. Phase 2 makerspace facility scheduling indicated Nov 4‑5, 2025.
Safety Requirements
-This work uses a Class 3B laser system and must follow ANSI Z136.1 operational safety. We are focused on safe operation, not product certification.
* A temporary controlled area in your workshop: 5 m (16 ft) unobstructed line, access control during operation, posted Class 3B signage
Please confirm you have, or can immediately procure:
Safety and tooling equipment I bought
* A calibrated digital torque wrench (N·m), calibration date within the last 12 months
* Certified laser safety eyewear rated OD ≥ 6 at 520 nm (regular safety glasses are not sufficient)
-Safety sign
Only thing left is the beam dump but given I’m very new I’m wondering if you can supply them if not I can source one.
-If FCG‐01 is not approved by November 6, 2025, the Client
may terminate this agreement for convenience with no liability beyond the
reimbursement for pre-approved safety items.
