We are seeking a qualified laboratory to conduct third-party analytical testing on multiple RUO (Research-Use-Only) peptide batches. The objective is to independently validate supplier claims and evaluate the structural and functional integrity of each batch under in vitro conditions.
Testing Goals:
Confirm peptide structural identity and integrity
Quantify net peptide content and assess purity
Evaluate potency using in vitro assays
Requested Analytical Methods:
1. Identity Verification
Techniques such as Mass Spectrometry (MS), HPLC, or peptide mapping to confirm molecular structure
2. Purity and Net Peptide Content
HPLC or LC-MS to quantify total peptide composition and active content
3. Potency Testing
ELISA assays or cell-based functional bioassays using target-expressing cell lines
Functional readouts may include cAMP or calcium flux, reporter gene activity, or downstream signaling assays
Alternative validated in vitro methods may be proposed
Desired Deliverables:
Comprehensive report with identity, purity, and potency results
Potency metrics expressed relative to a reference sample (e.g., % deviation or pass/fail)
Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for each peptide batch
Additional Information:
Please include details on available assay platforms, estimated turnaround time, sample volume requirements, and pricing. Labs outside the U.S. are welcome to respond.
