Sealed Lighting Fixture Studies Design and Testing under Negative Testing
Project Description
Contract Laboratory needed for testing of a sealed lighting fixture for a room under negative pressure (e.g. a biocontainment laboratory). I envision the test as a small air tight room with two types of ceilings, a drywall ceiling and another with a cleanroom ceiling panel installed. Above the ceiling, a box would be filled with smoke or a tracer gas over the lighting fixture. A camera in the room would record visual indication of smoke if smoke passes through the lighting fixture or a tracer gas with sensors within the room. Possibly a fan door could be used to create the negative pressure.
