Cosmetic Product Testing & EU Compliance
Project Description
Need perfume testing and certification in Bulgaria to ensure products comply with EU regulations (EC 1223/2009) for cosmetic products. I am unsure about the exact requirements and would like your guidance on the necessary tests and certification options. Currently, I have the following documents from my supplier outside the EU:
- MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet)
- Allergen analysis
- IFRA certificate.
However, I am unsure whether these documents meet EU standards, as they were conducted outside of Europe. I would appreciate your advice on whether they can be used or if I need new tests conducted by an EU-certified laboratory. Could you please provide information on:
- The required tests for EU compliance.
- Whether my existing documentation can be validated or needs to be redone.
- The cost and timeframe for necessary testing in Bulgaria.
