Low Temp Spray Drying Essential Oils & GCMS Analysis
Project Description
Food analytical laboratory needed for low-temperature spray drying essential oils into powders. We need a “back-up” analytical lab to conduct analyses for us should our instrument be down. Do you think this is something your lab is capable of?
Our L/L extraction method is slightly different than simple DCM/water L/L:
1. 100mg of sample weighed into glass centrifuge tube
2. 3mL of 2:1 DCM:MeOH is added; vortex at 500rpm for 15min
3. 1mL of DI water is added; vortex at 500rpm for 45 min
4. Centrifuge samples at 2000rpm for 5 min
5. Extract bottom DCM layer; place into vial and analyze
Please provide a quote for the analysis of 2 samples: 1 citrus oil, 1 citrus powder.
