COA Testing of Whitening Product
Project Description
MULTIPLE TESTING
ISO 17025 or DEA laboratory needed for certificate of analysis COA testing a whitening product with the following requirements:
- Heavy Metals
Heavy metal testing must include lead, cadmium, arsenic, and mercury in milligrams, micrograms, ppb or ppm.
- Microorganisms and Pathogens include Total aerobic mesophilic microorganisms, E. coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Candida albicans, and Burkholderia cepacia complex.
Microorganisms and pathogens testing shall be in accordance with USP <60> Tests for Burkholderia cepacia Complex, USP <61> Microbial Enumeration Tests, USP <62> Tests for Specified Microorganisms, or FDA BAM chapter 23 (Methods for Cosmetics), any other validated, ISO accredited test method.
- The testing date on the COA must be within the last six months.
- A method reference or technique must be included on the COA.
