Assessing Soapstock Oil Acidulation Issues

Consulting services needed for testing recommendations to help confirm whether polymerization or sulfonation is the root cause of an issue we're currently facing after acidulating our soapstock.
The oil has developed a sludge-like consistency, resembling pudding, which is atypical for our process. We suspect this may be due to either polymerization of fatty acids or the presence of sulfonated/sulfated oil.
