MULTIPLE SAMPLES
Contract laboratory needed for measuring chloride concentration in our samples once we collect them. I would like to get a quote on what this testing would cost, as well as your opinion on the method that should be used.
There are a few mentioned in the standard test method paper that I am referencing. One is the D4458 test method (titration of chloride with silver nitrate), but it also references Alternative chloride analysis procedures including ISO 9225 mercurimetric titration method or the use of ion chromatography.
My company uses the wet candle method to measure atmospheric chloride deposition. We will likely be setting up 5 wet candles and sending in samples for testing monthly.
I would like information on which method you would recommend as well as the costs for each method.
