Testing Human Blood, Urine, Vitreous Matter for Tetrodotoxin or Cyanide
Project Description
USA-based Independent clinical diagnostic lab needed for testing preserved human blood, urine, and/or vitreous matter to detect the presence of Tetrodotoxin or Cyanide.
I'm a Licensed Private Investigator, and a former NYPD Lieutenant, working with a Law Firm in NYC, on behalf of the family and next of kin of a deceased female, age 28. The family would like to rule out the possibility that the deceased ingested Tetrodotoxin, possibly from pufferfish, or another marine species known to accumulate this compound.
Samples are preserved at the NYC Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, ME Case # Q23-037004. NYC ME office requires a short letter on lab's letterhead detailing what tests will be conducted; chain of custody must be absolutely documented; approximate quote and brochure, are welcome.
If you/your Lab would not consider performing the required testing, any suggestions as to a competent private lab(s) would be appreciated. Please advise if you can assist in this matter.
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
