Oxygen-Excess Defect Analysis in Silica Glass - Photoluminescence System

Project Description

Third-party laboratory with a Photoluminescence system needed to analyze oxygen-excess related defects in a few silica glass (SiO2) samples. These defects are usually denoted as a non-bridging oxygen hole center (NBOHC) or the interstitial O2 molecule.
I would appreciate every detail you can give me regarding the required sample size, the data we can get, and the cost.
Here is more information regarding the required analysis:
- Samples are Silica glass (SiO2). They are ~35 to 55 mm diameter cylinders with 5 cm length. But we can cut them in any size and shape and polish them again based on your system capability.
- To start, we would like to send two samples fabricated at different conditions.
