Silicone Dummy Chains and Teethers Australian Compliance Testing
Project Description
MULTIPLE TESTING
Baby Product Company needs Consumer Products Laboratory for testing silicone bead products in the form of dummy chains and teethers. I've purchased items from a supplier who has said that the silicone beads and clips have all been individually tested to comply with the Australian safety standard EN 12586:2007. I've been sent copies of the certification from the company.
Even though the items have already been individually certified, I now need to get the final product tested and certified before selling to ensure they comply to the Australian safety standards (AS/NZS ISO 8124:3:2012).
The items purchased to make the final products have undergone the following tests:
AS/NZS ISO 8124.1-2013, Physical and mechanical properties
AS/NZS ISO 8124.2-2009, Flammability
AS/NZS ISO 8124.3-2012, Migration of certain elements
EN 12586:2007+A1:2011: Mechanical hazards
EN 12586:2007+A1:2011: Migration of certain elements
EN 12586:2007+A1:2011: Ni release rate
