Laboratory Description:

Greening are a US-based test machine and engineering services firm providing a complete solution by integrating test equipment design, development, and manufacturing with experience gained from in-house testing services.  Arranged into two operating divisions, Greening installs and operates a wide array of specialized test systems for the automobile, commercial vehicle, rail, and aerospace industries, evaluating products including axles, brakes, clutches, friction materials, transmissions, wheels, and other driveline components on products as diverse as bicycles and wind turbines.  Through our ISO 17025 certified laboratory, we have been engaged in literally hundreds of testing programs ranging from research and development to competitive analysis, and marketing strategy development to certification (AMECA, ECE R90, FMVSS, NSF, ISO, etc.) for companies worldwide.  We have directly certified hundreds of different friction, disc, and drum part numbers to ECE R90 (required for replacement parts in Europe) over the past 10 years.

Company principals have over 80 years of testing equipment and services experience and the Greening team of principal engineers have over well 250 years of combined tribological expertise in frictional devices such as brakes, automatic transmissions, dry clutches, rail, aircraft, marine and industrial/renewable energy applications.  We have keen insight with respect to vehicle applications and integrating real-world conditions into laboratory level testing.  In this area we are well recognized as problem solvers who think beyond the norms of standardized tests; we have a well-founded understanding of vehicle design and development and are adept in including these aspects into our products and services.

Greening also provides a wide range of mechanical testing for wheel and axle components, ride control products, calipers, clutch cover assemblies, and vibration and fatigue testing of miscellaneous vehicle related components.
