Forensic Ingredient Identity Testing of Supplement Capsule

Project Description

We need a laboratory to perform forensic identity and authenticity testing on a finished dietary-supplement capsule. The objective is to obtain a standalone analytical report for an FDA misbranding or product-authenticity matter, not an Amazon GMP compliance evaluation.

The requested analysis should:

  1. Identify coloring agents, opacifiers, excipients, and fillers in both the capsule shell and fill contents, including substances such as titanium dioxide, iron oxides, riboflavin, or other dyes.
  2. Compare the analytical findings with the product’s declared “Other Ingredients” list, which identifies only hypromellose.
  3. Explicitly identify any detected substance that is not declared on the product label.

Please provide separate pricing for optional heavy-metals screening and potency testing of the declared active ingredients.

Laboratories should confirm whether the final report will explicitly state any detected but undeclared ingredients and whether the testing and report are covered by the their ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation scope. All testing must be performed on the submitted physical sample.

Please include itemized pricing, turnaround time, required sample quantity, and sample-submission instructions.
