Colorimetric Determination of Yeast Beta-Glucan Using Phenol–Sulfuric Acid Method

Project Description

I need a qualified contract laboratory to perform quantitative analysis of yeast-derived beta-glucan and related carbohydrates using the phenol–sulfuric acid colorimetric method as described in the ACS publication: https://pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac60111a017. The method involves acid hydrolysis followed by colorimetric detection (~490 nm). Laboratories should have experience with this method or a validated equivalent, including appropriate standards, sample preparation for yeast beta-glucan matrices, and quantitative reporting. Results will be used for product characterization, nutritional evaluation, or quality control. Method validation data are preferred.
